Education Qualification & Experience

unior Engineer (Civil): Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute/University/Board with minimum 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Junior Engineer (Electrical): Minimum three years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognised Institute/University/Board with minimum 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Experience (as on 01/04/2026):

  • For Diploma holders: At least 2 years’ experience
  • For Degree holders: At least 1 year experience (in execution & supervision of relevant works or 1-year graduate apprenticeship in a PSU).

  1. Visit the RBI website and click on the link “Recruitment for the Post of Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) – Panel Year 2026”.
  2. Register by clicking “Click here for New Registration” and fill basic details (name, contact, email). Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated.
  3. Note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password (also sent via email/SMS).
  4. Upload scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration as per specifications.
  5. Fill all other details in the online application form.
  6. Use “SAVE AND NEXT” to save and verify details at any stage.
  7. Preview the entire form using the Preview Tab.
  8. Make corrections if needed, then click “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” only after ensuring all details (including photo & signature) are correct.
  9. Proceed to Payment Tab and pay the required fee online.
  10. Click “Submit” button.
