Agnipankh Scholarship Programme 2026 – Scholarship Exam and Eligibility
The Agnipankh Scholarship Exam is a National Level Scholarship Competition organized by the Kalams Agnipankh International Foundation. Inspired by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s vision, this initiative empowers young minds by providing the wings they need to soar high in their educational journey. It offers the prestigious Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship and Agnipankh Scholarship to foster academic excellence and provide financial assistance to deserving students.
Students can Apply Online scholarship form for this scholarship exam, which is open to talented young students from recognised schools.
Who Can Apply?
- Students studying in Class 1st to 10th
- From any recognised school (State Board / CBSE / ICSE)
- Open to students across Maharashtra
- No preference on the basis of caste, religion, gender, region, or income
- Selection is purely on merit based on performance in the Agnipankh Scholarship Examination

Exam Pattern
The exam consists of two papers, both Objective Type (MCQs).
- Paper 1: Aptitude Test – Used only for shortlisting of candidates. Subjects: Mathematics, Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, Marathi (State Board). Marks not added to final merit.
- Paper 2: Academic + Aptitude Test – For final selection. Subjects: Mathematics, applied aptitude & reasoning, English, General Knowledge, Marathi (State Board) + Academic syllabus-based subjects. Final selection based ONLY on Paper-2 performance.
Negative Marking: 0.25 Marks deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks deducted for unanswered questions. Final merit prepared after considering negative marking.
Interview (If Required): Only for tie-breaking or verification (10-mark interview). Decision of the Agnipankh Scholarship Exam Committee is final.
For Class 1-3: Paper 1 & 2 as per exam guide. For Class 4-10: Paper based on exam guide book and school syllabus.
Tie-breaking: If three or more students score equal marks in Paper-2, Paper-1 marks are considered. If still tied, interview is conducted.

Minimum students selected at State Level: 12 for Classes 1-4, 12 for Classes 5-8, and 6 for Classes 9-10. Selection is purely on merit. Scholarships disbursed by cheque (annual and renewable for higher classes subject to conditions).
Additional Prizes (subject to minimum participation and availability):
- District Level Prizes (if 5,000+ students per district): 1st – Bicycle, 2nd – Tablet, 3rd – Smart Watch (overall and class-wise: School Bag, Smart Watch, Pen Drive).
- Taluka Level Prizes (if 2,000+ students per taluka): 1st – Study Table, 2nd – Desk Planner, 3rd – Water Bottle.
- School Level Prizes (if 30+ students per class per school): Gold Medal, Certificate of Excellence.
All participants receive recognition based on merit. Prizes may be equivalent value if required.
