How to Apply

Follow these step-by-step instructions exactly as given in the official notification:

  1. Before filling the Online Application Form (OAF), candidates must mandatorily register for ONE TIME REGISTRATION (OTR) on the APPSC website.
  2. Candidates who have already registered in OTR can directly login using the same user ID and password.
  3. Apply online only on the APPSC website https://appsc.gov.in. Detailed instructions for OTR are available on the website.
  4. Submit only a single application. In case of multiple applications, the one with the highest Registration ID (RID) will be accepted.
  5. The online application link will be active from 1700 hours on 26th March 2026 till before 1300 hours on 27th April 2026.

Required Scanned Documents to Upload (as specified):

  • Signature (40-50 kb, jpg)
  • Recent colour passport-size photo (40-100 kb, jpg, white background)
  • Self-attested photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN, Passport, etc.)
  • PwBD certificate (if applicable)
  • For Detailed Application Form (after written exam): Bachelor’s Degree + marksheets, B.Ed certificate + marksheet, Matriculation certificate for age proof, APST certificate/PRC/Aadhaar (as applicable), and intimation letter to HoD for in-service candidates.

Selection Process

The selection will be done strictly in two stages as per the notification:

  1. Written Examination (Objective) – Total 450 marks
    • Paper 1: General English, General Studies, Aptitude and Pedagogy – 150 marks
    • Paper 2: Concerned Subject – 300 marks Negative marking of 1/6th for each wrong answer.
  2. Viva-Voce and Classroom Teaching – 50 marks (Total marks = 500).

Only candidates securing minimum qualifying marks (33% aggregate + 20% in each paper for general; 20% aggregate + 10% in each paper for PwBD) will be called for Viva-Voce (approximately 3 times the vacancies). Final selection is subject to document verification and medical fitness.
