Selection Process

Shortlisting for Interview

  • Candidates are shortlisted in the ratio of 1:12 (category-wise & discipline-wise) on the basis of valid GATE 2024/2025/2026 scores.
  • Separate shortlisting is done for PwBD candidates against reserved vacancies.
  • GATE scores of 2024, 2025 and 2026 are given equal weightage.
  • Only GATE 2024/2025/2026 scores are valid; earlier scores are not considered.

Personal Interview

  • Shortlisted candidates are called for Personal Interview.
  • Final selection is based only on Personal Interview performance.
  • No weightage is given to GATE score in the final merit list.
  • Minimum qualifying marks in interview: 70% for Unreserved and 60% for EWS/SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates.

Final Appointment
